What a...what a... what a... Yes what a game that was between the Eagles and Cardinals! Not many games will be able to top that NFC championship. Let's hear it for the Cardinals. The never-say-die Cards.

The relentless Eagle defense was not able to rattle Kurt Warner. They threw just about everything at him. Warner could not be shaken. Stood confidently in the pocket. Released the rock quickly. Got it to Larry Fitzgerald for three touchdowns. Cards raced to a 21-3 lead... ending in a 24-6 first-half lead. Philly seemed to be overwhelmed. What had just hit them. Cards weren't capable of doing this. Could Donovan McNabb and the Eagles recover? Recover they did which made this game such a one to remember. Eagles looked like they would pull it out but...

That winning drive by the Cards was still to come. How 'bout that fourth-down play. Props to Todd Haley for not calling for Warner to try and sneak it through. Give it to a speedy RB and let him run it around that stingy defensive line. That's the way to do it. Mr. Boldin, you are to be commended for coming back to play with your fractured and repaired face, but... this was not a time for a T.O. moment. Looked bad you yelling at Mr. Haley. Must have been thinking T.O. had followed him from Dallas. Well, can we still say, "all's well that ends well".

The other game. AFC championship. Steel Curtain defense baby. Steel Curtain defense. This game was not as exciting to watch (slept through it a little bit), but these defensive battles still manage to catch the interest at some point. Ravens finally put a scare in the fourth quarter pulling within two...16-14. Oh, oh. Did the Steelers let the Ravens hang around too long? Would Mr. Flacco pull a rabbit out.

Not today said Mr. Troy Polamalu. Not today. Interception returned for a touchdown. Time for you to go home Mr. Flacco. Time to go home. You still made a fantastic run, though. Brutal, hard-hitting game. Glad to know Willis McGahee is recovering well from Ryan Clark's hit. Looked clean, though. Looked clean.

"The relentless Eagle defense was not able to rattle Kurt Warner."

That defense was hardly relentless.
