Another chapter was authored last night in the burgeoning rivalry between the New York Ranger's Colton Orr and the Pittsburgh Penguin's Eric Godard.
This is the sixth bout in their rivalry and Orr has claimed victory each time until last evening.
This one had all the fixings, challenge before the puck drops, sizing up at center ice and some serious bombs unleashed.
A dandy scrap!
I would say Godard got the victory in this one and in the big picture he helped set the tone of the night.
The Penguins smashed to a 6-2 victory and collected a much needed Atlantic division win.
Godard started the season out on a roll, but got tripped up a bit with one loss to Jody Shelley and 2 losses to Orr.
This win over Orr was huge as he starts to gather momentum for the quest of the heavyweight title for the second half of the season.

There's no doubt Godard got the best of Orr in this one. Orr's head just snaps back from that hammer and down he went! Great fight and great game last night. Looks like the Pens may be turning the corner.
