Hey, all! I'm looking for 29 other guys to conduct an experiment of sorts: an all-time basketball draft. Each participant will pick an NBA franchise and we'll hold a 12-round serpentine-style draft in which you may select anyone who's ever picked up a basketball. All players will be considered to be in their primes. Draft order will be determined by an online random number generator. After the draft, we'll all vote to determine who the division winners, conference champions and overall best team would be in a hypothetical season. I'm hoping it leads to some fun discussion. If it does, we can try it with other sports. Started a group here:
I'll probably set a 24-hour limit for each pick once the thing starts, so this will take a while. Anyone expecting to get this done tonight, or planning on getting themselves banned in the near future, need not apply. I'm looking to make this a long-term project.
Oh, and by the way... I'm taking the Bulls. ;)
