I sit here in my dorm room watching the big game. A couple friends around, but no big deal. I am beginning to wonder to myself, are we as a society forcing people to watch football?

Let's be honest. How many of us are Pittsburgh Steelers or Arizona Cardinals fans? Most of our teams were eliminated in week 8, or like my favorite team, shocked by a divisional rival AT home in the divisional round. (Way to show up, Super Bowl champs =[)

I'm a big football fan. I'm sure most of you readers are too. But can anyone imagine going to school or work tomorrow and saying to people surrounding you, "Yeah, I didn't watch the Super Bowl yesterday. Who Won?" You would probably be ostracized. Called gay or un-American. Are we forced to watch the Super Bowl by our society?

As I watch this game, I really cannot wait until it ends. I enjoy seeing the celebration by the winning team, but what I really cant wait for is the brand new hour long episode of The Office.

To end this, I wish good luck to the quarterbacks of these two teams. Good Luck Kordell Stewart and Jake Plummer.

 Oh... they're gone?
