Holy fricking Jesus, was this game crazy or what?? I mean, how do the Steelers blow a 13-point lead in the 4th quarter..and still wind up pulling it out at the end??
I'm still shaking my head over this.
Hey, it's like I said in my previous blog here on the HTTR site: my gut told me Pittsburgh would win, but I had personal reasons for wanting Arizona to shock the sports world. In fact, I was all set to send the e-mail to my uncle in Phoenix ready to scream out loud.
Then, Santonio Holmes got his toes in the end zone. I still sent the e-mail, anyway. I just wound up saying "Hell of a way to lose this sucker, wasn't it???"
So I don't want the Steeler fans on here jumping on my case about this. I ALMOST got proven right...but as they always say, "Almost don't count except in horseshoes or hand grenades".
Now, the post-mortems begin on here. But keep in mind, you underestimated Arizona just like the Eagles did...and the Falcons...and the Panthers. But the bigger question remains, can the Cards sustain this NEXT season??
