Hartsburg's done
It will be interesting to see who Ottawa brings in as the fired Craig Hartsburg's replacement. I've heard minor rumor about Pat Burns coming in and depending on how well his cancer treatment is going, this rumor is quite a possibility.
After all, he said that had he not been diagnosed with Lung Cancer last April he would have been barking from an NHL bench this year.
That would be great to see Burns back in action, a great sign that he is confident in his battle with the cancer.
Of course, I always pull for Ted Nolan when an NHL coaching vacancy comes into discussion.
Can you imagine Nolan coaching a team with talent?
Because we know Ottawa's nucleaus is better then any nucleaus Nolan has ever coached.
Thornton's soft hands
Bruins Enforcer Shawn Thornton had himself a game yesterday.
One minute into the first period he and Montreal thug for hire call-up Alex Henry dropped the gloves and Thornton gets the win.
Then, Thornton tallies the game winner midway through the second period.
It was his fifth this season and second in the last four games.
Not bad for an undersized enforcer.
The Bruins also collected their fourth victory from the Habs this season and really just outmuscled and outhustled them throughout the whole game.

Great fight. Thornton did well with a big size disadvantage...
Those Montreal unis are horrible.
