After the best Superbowl I have ever witnessed, the Steelers brought #6 home!  The excitement will last until August of next year.  I think that it is hard to determine just one MVP of that game.  First congrats goes to Holmes, the MVP of the game.... the catch to save the game will go down in history.  He has come along way and had a hell of a game.  Second congrats goes to Big Ben, for being the other half of the play to save the game and driving it downfield all night.  I have often been sceptical about him but I must admit, he is an elite quarterback (yes ESPN it is safe to say elite).  Who'd have thought that Harrison would have taken it all the way to the endzone to make the longest run in Superbowl history. That big man got up fast than I thought :)  It's a wonder why we cut him twice. He has proved himself all season as a key player and now the whole world knows it.  Had it not been for his penalty later in the game, he too would be up for the title of most valuable player.  It's not to say the rest of the team doesn't deserve it.  Thats the thing about Pittsburgh  no one person carries the team, therefore the Steelers are MVT most valuable team.

Shout out to Arizona for giving us a fight til the end.  Warner and Fitzerald are an amazing combonation and the team deserved to be there.

It was unfortunate I was not in town for the actual game but North Carolina showed it's love.  The 9 hour drive home was filled with Steeler flags and signs.  It's amazing. I called home and heard the celebration, I'm suprised they didn't hear me! :)

I do love this town.  I got to go to the celebrations leading up to the Superbowl (all week long), and attended the parade this morning.  Over an estimated quarter million people lined the streets of downtown Pittsburgh to thank our boys for bringing #6 to the steel city.  I don't know any sports team with this fan base, take that Yankees.

So move over Dallas, the Steelers are the new America's team.  More trophies than anyone and a new record which broke the old one set by who? Willie Parker.  It was a heck of a game, one in which I will never forget!

Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go!
