Chien-Ming Wang threw 27 pitches this past Tuesday. It was the first mound session that he participated in this year. On the other hand, Jorge Posada made 140 throws this past Monday. He was also planning to start a more aggressive program today, but there hasn't been any updates about that. They both seem to be preparing for the season, and are on schedule to be ready for Opening Day. The way these two were spoken about..it seemed like they were way behind schedule. They are doing fine...
"He's full go for spring training," Yankees pitching coach Dave Eiland said. "He felt strong. He really looked good. A good day for him."
"No concerns," Wang said. "Everything feels fine."
"No setbacks," Posada said. "Everything has been good. Hopefully everything stays healthy."
