Lindsay Vonn-hottest winter athlete

I follow three sports in the winter. my Sharks (Hockey), who lost tonight to Carolina because they took the 3rd period off, Skiing & Bobsled.

Bobsled is owned by the germans, austrians & italians with german names(like me). Alpine Skiing has always been the property of the austrians, germans, swiss, & a few americans along the way-the Mahre brothers, America's favorite hippie child Picabo Street & a few one time winners here & there.

But this year the hottest skier is Lindsay Vonn, originally from Minnesota, but who moved to Vail before she was 10. Her last Olympics  didn't go well because of a bad crash before the competition. But now she is just killing the others. She has won 3 races in the last week, including two Super G's, one at the World Championships.

I know most people don't follow Skiing except during the Olympics, but I love watching it. It is my favorite Olympic sport, more than track & field or swimming. Lindsay hardly makes mistakes. the Super G at the world's was an example. A lot of the top skiers didn't make it down the hill, because all seemed to miss the same gate, & thus were dq'ed. She had no problem. So remember her name next year.
