New York Ranger Colton Orr exacted some revenge against New Jersey's Michael Rupp earlier this evening.
Rupp earned a decision victory over Orr in early December and Orr was primed for the rematch.
Orr's heorics were to no avail as the Devis skated to a 3-0 victory.
Credit to New Jersey netminder Scott Clemmenson for stopping 27 New York shot on goal en route to his first regular season shutout in five years.
More importantly, the Devils increased their point lead in the Atlantic Divison to 6 points over the 2nd place Philadelphia Flyers and 8 points over the 3rd place Rangers.
