It was quite a game when the two best teams in the NHL played tonight. The first period belonged to the Bruins, with the team scoring two goals. But the second period was fairly even, & the third was all Sharks. Even Bruins coach Claude,Julien said they were the best team the Bruins had played all year. The fans didn't know whether to boo Joe Thornton or not. Some may not know the circumstances of his trade to San Jose, one of the worst trades ever, although Boston has recovered quite nicely.

Ryan Clowe had another killer game with 3 assists. He is becoming a top player, & someday people around the league will realize it. Evgeni Nabokov had a good game. My problem with him this year is, yes the Sharks are winning, but the high scoring helps,as Nabby has a bad habit of giving up goals on few shots. But tonight he was not giving up rebounds & that always makes it easier on the goalie & the defense.

Gary Bettman was in attendance so I hope he realizes how good SJ is. Marc Savard said the Bruins had this game marked since Christmas, & they did play well the first two periods, but the Sharks really shut them down in the third. Hopefully there will not be a let down tomorrow when they play the Pens. This was good experience against a top tier team, something the Sharks always have trouble with. See the Blackhawks.
