All of the trade rumors surrounding Terrell Owens are hilarious. The hot rumor today was that he might go to the Raiders. What coach in their right mind would want this guy on their team? He is batting 1,000, 3-3, when it comes to wrecking havoc on teams where he's played and killing any possible chemistry. What is it with the triumph of hope over experience when it comes to NFL owners and general managers? By bringing him into your locker room, you are dropping a ticking time bomb.
Is his 14,122 career yards worth the havoc he will cause? That should be his nickname, Havoc, because that is what follows behind him everywhere he goes. Many of those yards came at the cost of team success. How many times did a quarterback give up a better option because he knew if he didn't look TO's way, there would be fireworks on the sideline? It was a risky move at best to take a chance on him during the prime of his career. To do it now when he is on the downward slope of his career is just plain stupid.
Dallas needs to follow the example of the 49ers and Eagles and get rid of this cancer on their team. And any team who goes after this guy deserves exactly what they will get. Surely not even Al Davis could be that stupid...could he?
