A-Rod took Steroids! Brett Favre's retiring! A-Rod's dating Madonna! Barry Bonds took steroids!
I'm sure all of these topics and many more have been cramed down your throat by every major sports media in existence. Are you as sick of it as I am?
I go on ESPN to look up what's going on in the sporting world, not who's shining A-Rod's rod. SI/ESPN/CBSSports all focus on one topic then after about 5 months they move on to something they think is more interesting.
How many stories have been posted about Pac-Man Jones in the past year? Countless. How many did anyone want to read? None of them. Who cares about a mediocre player who thinks he's a gangster? They need to focus on the players who deserve to be focused on. Giving these wanna be gangsters all the attention in the world, no matter how negative it is, is just feuling their desire to do it.
Face it, players like T.O. and Pacman are just attention ****. They love attention good or bad. Not focusing on them would be the best thing for their teams and players around them. More importantly, for them.
So here's a message to ESPN and SI. Try reporting actual news.
