Yes, I'm still on the Super Bowl kick. Still can't kick the habit. It' ll continue to be debated whether Kurt Warner's fumble at the end of the SB should have been reviewed or not being that it happened within the final two-minute window. I think it should have, but I didn't see any irrefutable proof that would've overturned the ruling on the field.
The other deal is whether Pittsburgh should have been penalized 15 yards at the kickoff because Santonio Holmes had used the ball as a prop after he caught the winning TD pass. Thus, Warner and the Cards may have had better field position to work with in the final seconds of the game and possibly wrest victory away from Pitt.
Now, I remember the camera panning briefly on Holmes after the TD; and I did see him doing something with the ball. To me, it looked like he was shaking it over his hand like he was using a salt shaker. I was wondering, "What the heck is he doing?" Well, as I heard later, he was imitating LeBron James act of throwing powder into the air. Well, how was I supposed to know. Well, apparently the officials didn't either. So, Pitt dodged one there.
C'mon, you didn't really want to see the SB end with the Cards possibly winning on something frivolous as someone just trying to have a little fun... who was simply caught up in the exuberance? Where's your sense of humor?
Anyway, didn't want stray too far from the subject. Was Super Bowl LXIII the best SB ever as many have claimed? (Seems like the latest SB is supposed to be the best ever). Well, let's go back a few years or so (which I will continue later).
