Expect CI to have a monster yearThe Situation:  Urban Meyer has consistently stated that the teamneeds 11 full time wide recievers on the depth chart to fully run his offensive schemes and at the moment there are three clear starters:  Percy Harvin, Andre Caldwell, and Louis Murphy, who gave a great performance at the orange and blue game to secure his spot.  Behind him, Former Hawthorne Highschool QB turned TE/WR Cornelius Ingram  expects to have a monster year; as does speed demon Jarred Fayson

Fly Deonte Fly!

Whats Been Done:  The recieving corps at UF may be among the fatest in the nation, and certainly the arguement can be made that its one of the fastest WR groups the Gators have ever had.  It only got faster this year with the late signing of five star speedster Deonte Thompson, whose speed just might be able to carry him over Lake Alice and effectively making him only the second known person in existance behind Jesus himself to walk on water.  Three strait times Thompson ran a blistering 4.28 forty time, thats speed right thereWith a cool demeanor this kid is a threat to score whenever the football is in his hands, which should be alot in the future.  He is expected to be utilized in a fashion similiar to Percy Harvin depending on how he can handle the offensive playbook.   Three star Paul Wilson has earned considerable praise from both Urban Meyer and Dan Mullen, who considers Paul Wilson the most under rated three star he has ever seen on the field.

California native and scout.com five star #1 TE Aaron Hernandez is another huge welcome to the team.  Built like Tony Gonzalez this kid has got the hands and speed to stretch a linebacker or safety to his limit,  think Gonzalez mixed with a little bit of Shannon Sharpe.  Hernandez arrived in the spring so he has a heads up on alot of the incoming freshman, expect to see Hernandez in slot positions throughout the season.

Whats in the Future: The hot prospect on everybodys board is 6'4 tall man Julio Jones.  Considered the top WR prospect in the country this guy will have the potential to wreak havoc on opposing defenses.  Deandre Brown is another top notch prospect with incredible size and good speed to boot.  All prospects can be viewed here.
