Detroit definitely hit rock bottom now.

They are about to get bounced out of a playoff spot and they are just laying down letting teams crush them. Ever since Chauncey Billups left, this team has shown no signs of giving a damn.

Many people like to blame this all on Allen Iverson, but he can't take ALL of the blame.

Larry Brown was the one who coached the Pistons when they won the finals. Flip Saunders took the pistons to the playoffs every year, but his team couldn't make it all of the way... Now they have Michael Curry, a rookie coach starting off with this team that lost its floor general.

Chauncey Billups had chemistry with every single player on the team and he always knew what to do with the ball. Since he's such a talented and intelligent player, he can fit just about anywhere. That's why Denver is oversucceeding. That's all Denver needed was a point guard that knew how to hold defense and run the floor well.

Allen Iverson and Chauncey Billups. It's like comparing apples to bananas. They may be fruits, but they are totally different.

AI isn't technically a "point guard". He has vision, but usually he dishes it while he's in the process of making a play off of his offensive skills.

But back to Detroit.

Detroit's just getting old and people just can't finish themselves. Rasheed Wallace... What happened to that guy? Mr. All-Around Great North Carolina Man? He's getting old and next year I expect him to retire. Rip Hamilton can't buy a bucket or create his own shot that well. Rodney Stuckey has been a turnover machine and he has been serving nothing but BRICKS. Jason Maxiell always brings that hustle, but we all know that he isn't that much of an offensive weapon. Tayshaun Prince is always hustling and putting in his work, but I mean you can only do what you can do. He's not an offensive nightmare, but he is a smart player when HE WANTS TO BE. McDyess is.... ok.

And honestly, I don't know what the HELL Michael Curry is thinking having Prince run "Point Forward". Have you seen Prince's ball handling? I mean yeah he can get around, but he's no Lamar Odom... He dribbles kind of sloppy, in my opinion. I don't see how forwards don't rip him so easily.

So let's see, the Piston's starters aren't really that good, they're getting old, and Detroit has no bench. This team plays with no heart, no cares, and no determination. All of this adds up to a team that is about to go under .500. I'm not surprised.

I expect Michael Curry to be fired. I don't like him.

Iverson should test his free agency, because he really has no one to work with. Hell this team doesn't even like each other, why stay? Iverson if you want that ring you better look somewhere else than Detroit. Either that, or you can put your trust into Dumars managing (No comment).

You already know....

Iverson is a future hall of famer but the trade did not make any sense. Detroit gave away their floor general and all hell has broken loose every since. You're right. It's not AI's fault, i blame Joe Dumars for not realizing how important Billups was to chemistry. I'm sure Stuckey will be a good pro for years to come but you just don't trade your leader! By the way, Rip off the bench? Is coach Curry retarded?
