| 05:36 PM ET 02.25 | All right so i am here to discuss the new york yankees. here is what they got over the offseason. aj burnett, c.c sabathia, and mark teixeria all of which earned big bucks and had the yanks spending upward of 400+ million dollars. but the real thing they did is make it a very crowded outfield because the bringing in of nick swishher just makes no sense. they have hideki matsui,xavier nady,nick swisher,johnny damon and melky cabrera all of which are outfeilders. this is fine with matsui being a dh but how can you feed 4 ego's and only 3 spots. other then that it is ok except for the whole A-Fraud thing but whatever. the yankees should make it to the playoffs and look very good.now for the preview. i expect a first place finish and t least 1 playoff series win. i like the rotaition but burnett is way over paid. joba should be good as the fifth starter and i like there depth at catcher but how long can they keep up with their releivers who are'nt that good. other then that i like there odds with the whol team being very dep. they have a strong infeild and a good looking group of guys. i say they get 105 wins.
