The championship game was first called the Super Bowl in 1966. The league merger started in 1970. Since then the divisions were moved around a little but not alot. There is one division that is easily a cut above the rest of the league. I am talking about the division that Americas' Team has pretty much dominated in the last 43 years. Dallas has 20 division titles, the next team in the division has 7 division titles. Getting back to Super Bowl competition...  after the 70 merger the NFC East was 5 teams.. They were Dallas, Washington, New York, Philadelphia, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Now the Cardinals have been moved. The NFC east has accounted for a whopping league record of 11 Super Bowl titles which is over 25% of the 43 Super Bowls played.  The Cowboys have 5, the Redskins and Giants have 3 each adding up to 11. The now 4 team division has accounted for an incredibly sick 19 Conference championships. That means that almost 50% of the Super Bowls have had an NFC East team play in them. Dallas has 8 Conference championships, Washington has 5, the Giants have 4 and the Eagles have 2. Actually its 44%! For the Dallas Cowboys to lead the league in regular season wins in the Super Bowl era with 398 wins in a great division is incredible. I can't wait to see the Cowboys in 09 because the media says they are in disarray! These are the same chimps who said Dallas couldn't win the big one in 1970. Well they did and they will continue to do so! Felix Jones, You are gonna be great buddy! 8.9 per carry in 08! You missed 11 games in 08! Can't wait man! As for Steeler fans, stay strong, those steroids worked for the  blue collar 70s Steelers! lol.! Afterall the media said Dallas was not a blue collar team in the 70s, they didn't work hard. Meanwhile the Steelers were shooting up steroids, how stupid is the media!? lol.
