LSU football recruiting is off to a great start with three Rivals 250 players. LSU held a Junior day this weekend and when it was all said and done LSU had three commits. Here's a little information on the three players that gave verbals this weekend.
1. Nick Jacobs - TE
Many Louisiana, Many HS
6-5, 245lbs.
Had interest from many teams such as Texas and Michigan.
2. Tharold Simon - ATH
Pronounced (See-mua) for those of you not from South Louisiana
Eunice, LA Eunice HS
6-4. 185 lbs.
Had offers from Tulsa and Texas A&M
3. Mike Davis - WR
Dallas, TX, Skyline HS
6-1, 185 lbs.
Had offers from:
Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas A&M, Texas Tech,
California, Florida, Kansas
Like I said, recruiting is taking off fast and Les Miles and his staff are building a great class for 2010.
