What has happened to the once mighty Packers!? People now wonder why all the fuss about Lombardi, those were the caveman days. Hell that was when miniskirts were in and the sex revolution.. Where are the Packers in the modern times of NFL football? What has happened to tarnish their great image? How about losing!? What!" the mighty Packers losing!? From 1968 to 1991, Green Bay was everyones' whipping boy. Dispite playing in the worst divsion in all of pro football, they only had 4 winning seasons in the brutal 24 years. Packer divsion foes in those years only managed 1 Super Bowl championship, (Chicago 85) and 4 conference championships. Their division had the Lions, Bears who were a joke before 85, Bucs and the Vikings who couldn't win the big one. It was a terrible division. In that time period. over the 24 year period Green Bay was a humiliating 146-201-4 .415. The public lost respect for the stuffed shirts from Green Bay. The Packers were some nitwits wearing ugly green outfits that made them look like watermelons who came from the boondocks to try to play football. Jerry Kramer was now just some big mouth who bragged about a 4-10 team. Kramer was told to blow it out of his rearend.
In the early 90s, the Packers got Favre and the Packers started winning in a cupcake division. their division competition was the notorious "team that can't win the big one" the Minnesota Vikings. After getting dominated by Americas' Team in the 90s, the Packers beat a free agency depleted Dallas Cowboys and went on to win a Super Bowl. Free agency beat Dallas, the Packers didn't. Dallas was 9-1 .900 vs. the Packers in the 90s. It includes 8 staight losses to Dallas for the Packers. Dallas is 11-2 vs. the Packers since 1990. This Dallas' domination brought out the lack of class for Jerry Kramer, a guard who played in Green Bay in the 60s. Kramer wrote in Bert Sugars' book "I hate Americas' Team" and said that Dallas had no class and shouldn't be called Americas' Team. His rants were the result of Kramer not being able to handle the fact that Dallas of the 90s got the best of his Packers. It was sore loser arrogance. During the Packer demise, Dallas got an NFL record of 20 straight winning seasons. These were humiliating times for Kramer. he had to rant and knock the Cowboys. Since Super Bowl II the Packers are only about 10 games over .500 while Dallas is 379-248-1 since 1968, the best record in the NFL. Kramer's Packers are a wallowing franchise. A team that Kramer wanted to be called Americas' Team but never got the call. Why? They don't have the class of the Dallas Cowboys. They are just full of arrogance like the Steelers who want to forget over half of their history. Go get a diaper Kramer! The Packers will be the Black-n-Blue Packers in the coming years. The Packers are another arrogant organization who takes cheap shots at Americas' Team. Dallas' players, coaches and ownership use the media as a forum for praising their opponents unlike other franchises.
