After meeting with the 49ers on Monday, Kurt Warner has decided to stay with the Arizona Cardinals for $23M over 2 years. Or did he? I don't think there ever was any chance he was going to sign with the Niners. He and his agent played the boobs that run this franchise like the fools they are. As for Warner being a very religious man, righhht. How about a phony who never had any intention of signing here?
As for the lack of brain trust of the Niners, all I can say is, "why do you still have a job, Scott?". First of all, Warner is a guy who passes a lot, 300 yds a game. Singletary wants to run every down. He has no use for a all-out passer. Second of all, this is a guy who's draft picks have been less than impressive, except for Patrick Willis. And yes, this is the guy who waited until half way through last season to fire the incompetent egomaniac Mike Nolan.
I am embarrassed as a 49er fan, that we were led around by the nose by a player who didn't want to come here, who actually wanted to continue to play for the biggest skinflint in pro sports, Bill Bidwell.. When you would rather play in cactus land, where 100 degrees is a cool day, rather than the beautiful bay area, it tells you how far this franchise has fallen.

Warner just wanted to travel to SF on a private jet and have lunch with his wife...He could have least made it look like he was interested by waiting a few days before signing with the Cardinals...what a loser!!!
