I am very excited about this years fantasy baseball season so I decided to rate my top three fantasy players. Two position player, one starting pitcher, and one reliever.
SP. Roy Halladay- You absolutely know what you're going to get with Roy Halladay. Tons of innings and plenty of wins and strikeouts. He's pitched over 220 innings in each of the last three years. A twenty game winner last year and sixteen the two previous years is just fine with me. Though in 06 and 07 his strikeouts were down, last year he was great striking out 206. I really believe you can expect another great year with Halladay.
RP. Fransisco Rodriguez- Though i'm not a big fan of this guy, there's nothing to say that he can't repeat what happened last year. He is going to get plenty of chances to save games for the Mets this year and I believe he will be just fine. One quick thing though, don't waist a real early pick on this guy. There's a few other great closers that will stick aroung a and you can maybe get late (Joakim Soria maybe).
Position player. Hanley Ramirez- This guy is rediculous. He does everything you could possibly want from a fantasy player, especially a short stop. He can steel bases (350). He hits for average (302.). And he hits for power (33 HR). And, his numbers were better in 07 than 08. What more can you ask for from a fantasy player. This is who you want with your first overall pick if he's still available.
