We fans can blow it out of our rearends! We put down players and celebrities who run into tough times. I don't know what Pacman's pain is but he has a problem. I am talking about society and the way it reacts to people who fall into drug or alcohol abuse. Fans sit there and blast this player for failing a drug test or other types of substance abuse. Former db. Clayton Holmes is living in his home town homeless with no money. Thats really sad. Truth is that if you try a drug, you can get addicted. It could happen to anyone. Why would that make you a bad person as perceived by society!? I have one thing to say to you. You have no one in your family with problems of any kind!? No one!? Hmmm. whats your definition of an alcoholic!? Lets be real, how many of us have tried pot!? Hmm, how many of us drink!? I live in New York, there is no question that drugs are available in most homes in the Hamptons here on Long Island. Where theres money, its probably there. So, do you drink!? Why!? Because you get a buzz to make you feel good!? How many Americans have tried pot!? Have you!? Don't lie to me please. But we are the same people who will criticize a player if he gets caught with a little pot on him. We'll sit there on our pedistial and blast these people. Some with a beer in hand. If we read a player or a celebrity has a problem with alcohol we'll blast them. We ain't no different! Who are we kidding!? Statistics say that you have a person in your family or extended family with a problem. You say you don't, you are full of it. Bottom line is, we all look for ways to escape our pain. We're all in the same boat. stop making fun of people who have probems in life. Its stupid. There shouldn't be shame attached to people fighting to avoid their pain. We should only show compassion. Theres women who've been abused who go to drugs to deal with it. Alcohol is a crutch for most of us. Have a bad day at work, where do you go!? Before you jump on a blog and start burying someone for their substance abuse problem, call your sister, father, cousin, friend or look in a mirror yourself! We're all alike. We're all in this rat race together. Instead of making fun of these players or celebrities, pray that they'll cast their demons away. We better get our act together as a society. We say "I am a good person!?" Yea we all drive by homeless people on the street. We look at them as losers. we avoid them. Do we ever sit and think that person might be in deep pain!? "Oh who is that living on the street!?" "Did you see her!! Shes so dirty!" "Stay away from her!" Yea she was once a sweet little girl, somebody's daughter. Yep, I hope I don't say these things anymore myself. What lousy people we are. God have mercy on us.
