Next season Terrell Owens will be playing for a team that hasn't won a playoff game since the mid-90's.  A team whose coach and quarterback have yet to win a single playoff game.  And right about now you're asking, so T.O. did just get cut by the Dallas Cowboys right?

Some cracked that T.O. would be banished to Siberia, might even have to go play in Canada.  Well it doesn't get much closer than this.  Think of it as if the Montreal Expos went out and signed Barry Bonds.

That's not a knock on Buffalo Bills fans who have routinely sold out the joint formerly known as Rich Stadium, despite not making the playoffs for the better part of a decade.  Believe me I know the pain of being a Bills fan, rocking my Jim Kelly jersey on the playground at school and mimicking the "K-Gun Offense."

This is the ultimate odd-couple tale of flashy star meets blue collar city.  From a marketing standpoint it is certainly gold for the Bills.  More primetime TV, jersey and ticket sales, media coverage all around. This has to be the Bills biggest offensive addition since acquiring James Lofton in the early 90's.

Honestly folks if the Bills offense was any less conservative last year, Dick Jauron would've had to have called Rush Limbaugh to apologize.  In that regard, Owens will be a breath of fresh air.

T.O. will also open up the offense for Lee Evans, who was absolutely smothered down the stretch last season by opposing defenses.  Couple that with Roscoe Parrish and Josh Reed and the Bills should have something cooking in the air in 2009.

Being the fact that the "Crygirls" have not been a threat post season wise in lord knows how many years is it really a demotion to Owens to go to the Bills?...furthermore I totally agree with you...I think it will have a substantial positive impact on the "O"

The Bills are not the Montreal Expos of the NFL. Despite our lack of playoff appearances lately, we sell out our games and break our records of season ticket holders. There are playoff teams around the league with empty stadiums. Buffalo will appreciate TO, like we appreciate our team in general.

T.O. will behave the first year, maybe 2, but that depends on how he gets along with the coaches, and if he gets his share of the balls. I hope he works out for you fans of Buffalo .........but, it's kind of hard to change a skunk's stripe. Last year, defenses pretty well kept him in check, but be that as it may,.......... good luck Buffalo, and I'm not being sarcastic. I hope he works out well for your team.

I know and that's why I said this: "That's not a knock on Buffalo Bills fans who have routinely sold out the joint formerly known as Rich Stadium, despite not making the playoffs for the better part of a decade."

Perhaps it was a poor analogy on my part, I was trying to make a small market comparison, however that is not reflective of the Buffalo Bills rabid fan base.

TO never had a problem with the coaches in Dallas...nor they with him...all hyped speculation by the media...no quotes. Wade Phillips went to TO's birthday extravaganza in Dec,,,sat front and center when TO was awarded the KEY to Dallas by the mayor (an honor never before bestowed to ANY Cowboy ever!) Read Wade Phillips parting comments regarding TO..he "enjoyed "working with TO. Listen to Jerry Jones interview where he praiases TO's production and attitude on and off the field ..."a born leader" "professional in every way"..and states he wants to be at the top of TO's resume to tell everyone the truth about who TO is and then he lists the positives...all good. In an effort to sell headlines and gain readers...writers have sacrificed TRUTH for sensational generalizations....and have cruely trashed a great athlete and human being of the highest character. How many millions has he given to charity during his lifetime? Any of you idiots know those numbers....? The ONLY somewhat off comment TO ever made about the Cowboys was when he said that the opposing team the Cowboys had just lost to had "exposed us"...never mentioned Garrett...but the media took that comment and ran the headlines how TO was "throwing Garrett under the bus" ..Never mind that every columnist was saying the exact same thing about the Cowboys game plan for weeks...other teams HAD figured out the Cowboys offense and had shut them down. Every fan saw it too! Romo even said it too! But no ensational explosion from the media ther. Yeh, TO wanted the ball ...because he knows when he gets the ball, his team wins...otherwise he is just a blocker. Duh, yeh he was frustrated.....Don't like hearing the truth...Don't like hearing what TO has to say...tell the ones holding the mic's to stop hounding TO for comments. It isn't TO who chases the Mic's....he just wants to play!...No implosion, just a bunch of hyper reporters who love to demonize everything TO has to say. It really is sickening! Is he arrogant or just confident in his skills...and honest about it...For me, I LOVE IT ...and TO.. as Jerry Jones says , "TO truly walks the talk and that's not cancer and not a problem in the locker room" Wasn't it Ed Werder from ESPN who first suggested he was??? And everyone jumped on the band wagan because (as Jones says) "it was the easy thing to do...make TO the scapegoat"

Fans need to stop being blind sheep letting the media tell them how to interpret information...come on now, get a mind and think for yourselves....the truth NEVER is in comments from UNNAMED sources....listen to Jones, Phillips, Hurd, Barber , Williams and the like..they use their names...listen to what they have to say. And hey....read TO's books...get to know the guy yourself....

Cowboys will go 4-12 this season. Romo is going to be exposed, and if Jerry was concerned about "locker room chemistry", wait until the locker room turns on Tony Romo. Jason Witten open? Not a chance. No Cowboys receiver will draw double teams like Owens...unless the 'Boys trade for Larry Fitzgerald or Randy Moss. Or if Jerry Jones can bring in Jerry Rice from 1989.

I guess Boomer from ESPN will be nicer to TO now. So I guess that is one plus with him signing with the Bills.

You want to make a bet? I'm willing to take your 4.5 games + spread for the Cowboys. Heck, my 401K isn't what it used to be, but I'm willing to throw that down because you are a fool.

He'll be the same CANCER in Buffalo that he's been on every other team he's ever set foot on. It's his nature to act like a Damn Neanderthal..............
