Has there ever in our history been a President who ran on one platform only to reverse course immediately upon entering office? 

Sure, all candidates say what they think they need to say to get elected. That just how the system works. But have any others just flat lied through their teeth then proved themselves liars in their very first month in office like Barack Obama has?

Let's see...

Obama absolutely promised to allow 5 days of public commentary on the Presidential web site before he'd sign ANY non-emergency bill. The SECOND bill he signed was just hours after it made it's way through congress. The FIRST Bill he signed was two days after it got out of Congress and was not posted on the Presidential website prior to signing.

I start with these because they were straightforward and easy to accomplish promises on his part. There is no excuse here and it was a clear sign of what was to come.

Today, President Obama signed (in private no less) the 'Omnibus' bill that just made it through Congress just yesterday. It's ONLY $400billion or so. With HUGE earmarks...another thing our esteemed President has claimed he will oppose for the most part.

This President promised to cut the federal deficit in half in 4 years. How is he accomplishing this? You tell me, as he's DOUBLED it in a month. that's right, doubled.in.a.month.

This is a man who railed about the money Bush spent on Iraq and Afghanistan over the last 8 years...then signed bills spending MORE money than the combined totals of both of those wars AND Hurricane Katrina relief. In a month. On spending bills filled with pork that aren't likely to improve the economy one bit.

$79,000. 

That's the bill so far for every American household to pay for the bills Obama has signed...wait for it...IN A MONTH. Can YOU afford 79 grand a month to keep Government working?

I keep hearing "You can't undo 8 years in three months" talking points. Absurd. The Bush admin never even considered this kind of incredibly crazy spending spree. Again I emphasize that Obama has effectively DOUBLED the national debt in a months time with nothing of substance to show for it.

Nancy Pelosi told us yesterday, and Harry Reid agreed, that the Congress should be considering a second 'stimulus bill'...just a couple weeks after the first (near a TRILLION dollars) one was passed and isn't even operational yet. ARE THESE PEOPLE INSANE?

So tell me, Obama supporters, how many more months are you willing to turn a blind eye to our Government saddling you and your future family generations with 70 THOUSAND dollars of debt? The rich are gonna pay for it, right? Isn't that what he said? Only people making over $250k would see an increase in taxes, right? Nyet. If every single person making over 250k were taxed at 100% this year it wouldn't pay for the bills he's signed in the last month. Think about that. 

As I said, Pelosi is already pushing a second 'simulus' bill and despite the very understated numbers given by the Obama administration, his national health care plan is estimated by professionals to cost anywhere from $2-$7Trillion over the next 10 years depending on how comprehensive it is.

I'm starting to wonder if the American public understands the value of a Trillion dollars these days. A Billion is a thousand million. A Trillion is a thousand Billion. Where is this money gonna come from?
