10:22 AM ET 03.17 | If Peppers, whom happens to have gone to High School with my cousin, being that we are from Nash County in NC, anyways.....If he gets traded to New England of all places that will be like a direct slap in the face to Carolina and its fans. And for a rumored 34th overall pick!? That's like some bad joke. Peppers is a top of the line DE and will make on heck of an OL. Someone better talk Fox and his crew into squashin that trade if it is at all true. 16.68 million is a lot of cap room but dang, thats a quality player worth at least the two first round picks owed for a franchise player. I thought we fixed a lot of problems last year, but we are about to have a huge hole in our defense...really, who is going to replace him right now? If we don't go to draft a new QB we better be looking for a TOTL DE then! I'm hurt to even think this might happen!
