I've got a few things scheduled in the coming days, so there should be plenty of material to write on.
On Friday night, I've been invited to a low-dollar event, with most of the same players that played in an event I won a few weeks back. Haven't committed yet, but I think I will.
On Saturday, we begin the WSOP qualifier tournament. Now, I must give you the full details. I may not be playing this. I have agreed to be the 20th player. The tournament is set up for a minimum of 18, and no more than 20. They have 18 without me, and if they don't find a 19th, I'm not playing.
Not because I think I wouldn't do well. I'm not playing because I really don't want to go to Vegas to play one single $1500 buy in event. I'm just not interested. But if they get 19, I'll play. If I win, I'll go to Vegas.
If I don't play in the WSOP event, then on Saturday I'll be headed to Black Hawk, CO to attempt to qualify for the Heartland Poker Tour tournament.
On Sunday, we have the Moose Lodge $100 buy in event. It looks like a full 40-person field, so that's a lot of cash on the line.
Then on Monday, its on to my regular 20-person, $40 game. The blind structure was changed last week, so I have to figure out how to change my play. I went from a big stack to critically low in 20 minutes, and didn't lose any chips. I have to figure that out.
That's it for now, but things change Mox...things change.
