This will be relatively short.

This will not predict who will go to the Elite Eight, but it will be more of a reflection on my worthlessness concerning college sports analysis.  Although I think Villanova's going to beat Duke and Memphis will beat Mizzou, I will try to avoid that topic.

This will primarily be concerned with how we analyze these 63 (I think) games so much, that all I hear about is the NCAA Tournament, whether it be SI's website, or ESPN news, etc.

I hope this provides a good place to tell of our own failure to predict anything, despite our overanalyzing of every team and every matchup.

To start things off:

I chose Wake Forest to go to the National Championship game, losing to Pitt.  Although a 4 seed, they managed to lose in the FIRST ROUND.  To Cleveland State.  Now, I know I have an ACC bias (I am a Maryland Fan), everyone I know had them at least winning the 1st game, and most likely going to the Sweet 16. 

 So, my bracket is already busted.

Who I had for the Elite 8 Originally:

Wake Forest (Final Four) (mess up)

Kansas

Uconn (Final Four)

Memphis

Pitts (Final Four)

Villanova

Gonzaga (Final Four)

Syracuse

One of my buddies has almost his entire bracket right, and he knows little about sports compared to myself.  Final Four?  All #1 seeds.  Maybe next time I won't search for upsets to happen.
