I think there are players who are misunderstood. This is one of them and having been around him for the past two years I know that many of the things that were written about him by our local press painted a picture that was unfair. See, I know this because I am an assistant coach at North Fort Myers High School and I have been privileged to see things behind the scenes. This is a quality young man and I am extremely happy to have read a recent Sports Illustrated Online article about him that I am posting below. On the whole it is as fair a representation of this young man that I have read so far and Cory McCartney deserves a kudos! for seeing past the negative images that have been painted in the past. I found out several things the past two years and one of them is this: YOU CAN'T ALWAYS BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ IN THE NEWSPAPERS!
God Bless Noel and take it from me, West Virginia fans and college football in general will not be disappointed in this young man either on the field or off.

Report Offensive CommentI hope Noel can get his life together because the guy is unreal on the field. Him and Slaton in the backfield is scary.

Report Offensive Commenti wish him the best, i love small, quick RB's like him and the fact he's active in his kids lives is great and very respectable.
