When the season ended and was soon followed by the firing of Mike Shanahan, I was worried because I was 5 when Shanny was hired so this was the first coaching change since I have been totally engulfed by the old Orange and Blue. I knew that with the coaching change and with an obvious overhaul on D coming that I could always take a comforting breath in the QB position... After all, we had a young Pro-bowler who just threw for over 4500 YDS. But then the news of the trade comes and I didn't believe it. I still don't because their is nothing for the Broncos to get for him. All there is out there is draft picks, which isn't what the Broncos want for him. But I think that I speak for the rest of Bronco Country when I admit that every morning, I wake up and look on ESPN just waiting for the lead to say that he was traded. While I agree that football is a buisness and that any player is not bigger than the team, I think that Jay is the face of the franchise and would be heartbroken if he left... Check the Avatar.
