Yes they should be tested ,even though they are kids. They still have under classmen or a younger brother or sister that may look up to them.I think a majority would pass but then again we might be surprised at usage as well .

I got randomly tested in high school- and that was 12 years ago. It absolutely belongs- teach them young 'roids are other performance enhancers are bad....

I think it should be allowed in athletics. A few years ago our entire track team signed a waiver that said we agreed to be drug free. Half that team didn't take it seriously. People need to realize the effects steroids have on the body. It is absolutely tragic.

It's a slippery slope this issue. I don't think with the amount of high school athletes in the country that they, (the schools, coaches, athletic programs) could keep control on it. Where would it apply, to what schools? Only those with a large student body? There will be schools that don't have the money to pay for it. I think considering that these kids are still minors, it is the parents obligation to monitor their children.....great points though!!!
