Blake Griffin was taking off. This was about to be an authoritative jam. This would officially put the nail in the coffin, because Syracuse was barely breathing. Yet, on the way to what had the potential to be one of the statement dunks of the tourney, Blake Griffin hit his ear on the side of the backboard.

Yeah, he still made the dunk.

But afterwards, he clutched his ear and looked like a wimp. And I think I saw him crying.

Well, that's all the solace I could receive from Syracuse's ATROCIOUS loss to OU on Friday Night. This one hurt to watch. The interior passing was worse than this...<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyophYBP_w4>.

Anyway, I have a couple poorly organized thoughts that I felt compelled to write down.

-Anybody seen the preview for 'Where the Wild Things Are'? You'd think it suck the kind of cack that the Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers did. But...no. No, it does not. In fact, it looks freaking incredible. Look it up.

-Jim Calhoun is a toolbag. My hate for him is stonger than my hate for cold spaghetti and the TV show 'Scrubs.' And I hate Scrubs.

-Anybody remember UConn's NCAA tournament run back in 2005-06? They went in as a one seed, and despite playing like absolute crud for the first couple games, they made it to the Elite Eight, where they lost to George Mason. That is Pitt this year. Pitt has been playing weak basketball against opponents they should be manhandling. Yet they are still fighting because they finally decide to pick it up with 4 minutes left in the 2nd Half. They deserved to lose that first-round game, and I'm not just saying that.

-The guy who called the Syracuse/Arizona State game was named Ian Eagle. Yet he pronounced Ian...Ion. Anyone else catch this. Because I gotta tell you, this pissed me off. Bigtime.

-Hey, you. Guy who thinks it's clever to call Alex Rodriguez 'A-Roid.' Or 'Gay Rod'. Or 'A Fraud.' You're not clever. It's been done.

PS: I'll be returning to the 11 organized thoughts that you can see on display in The Legend of Wally Sczerbiak. It was a delight to write. Also, does anyone know if it's at all possible to post Youtube directly to your blog?
