The next order of buisness for the Avalanche

For the first time in a long time, the Avalanche are going to need to rebuild. I think that it all starts with Pierre Licroix and son Eric taking the reign from Francois Giguere because he has failed. Then they should replace Tony Granato with legend Patrick Roy as a coach. he has shown that he can coach as the Quebec Ramparts coach, and could do a great job. Then they need to adress two things, first they need to talk Sakic into playing one more year until Stastny is ready to take the "C" from Joe, and they need to get John Tavares. If they lose the lottery and get like fifth or something, then they can trade a player like Smyth, Liles, Lappy, or Hannan for the 1st overall pick. Tavares can be a great scorer on the Avs and wouldn't waste his time with the minors. It kills me to admit that the Avs need to start building through system like the Wings have done, because there old style of buying the talent won't work with todays NHL.
