Speaking of which, Iverson will have to decided if he wants one last run or walk away from the game. Lets look at likely teams he would land on (in no particular order) Knicks, Bobcats, Kings and outside chance of Magic and 76ers. He wants to play but even more than that he wants to be on a contender team. The best offer he can get is the Knicks who are trailing 5 teams out of 8th. They are a work in process and not a likely place A.I. would want to go. The Bobcats have one thing going for them Coach Larry Brown who had rough times with Iverson in Philly but the two have a great deal of respect for one another. They are 1 spot out of 8th which isn't bad but it dosen't exactly equal 2009-2010 championship. The Kings well they could offer money but thats really it. The outside chance Orlando Magic wouldn't pay him much infact he would get the Veteran contract but they are contenders its just a matter of if there interested. The 76ers and Iverson had something great together but the 76ers might want to leave the past in the past. It is likely Iverson will retire and I know how crazy that sounds but when all you are playing for is a championship you need to be on a championship caliber team and those type teams aren't looking for a point guard or a small shooting guard. He dosen't want to come off the bench and that's what will hurt him because if he did decided he had no problem with coming off the bench he would have bigger and better offers!
