Every year we obsess over the NFL Draft. The 2009 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and every day we hear more and more about mock drafts. Then the day after the draft is finished, we immediately are inundated with NFL draft report cards.

But the truth is, we never know how these drafts turn out until years down the line. In this way, the NFL Draft is very much like the presidential election

Do we really need all of this coverage for something that can't be figured out for four years?
