Wasup guys, it's been a while, like 3-4 months. I've been busy and fannation has pretty much slipped from my mind. Getting a week off for spring break gives me sometime to come back to the site.

I guess we need to bring the group back, eventhough with all the changes from the "old" site, if anyone remembers, it's going to be tough. I am a bit scared that coming back to the site will jinx me in some way, or Manchester United, but of course with our run of form heading into the clash with Porto on wednesday, we need some change.

So lets get down to buisness. The 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster is on Wednesday and even as a diehard United fan, I have to respect the terrible events of that fateful day in 1989 that left 96 Liverpool supporters dead. A very emotional moment occured the wednesday after the disaster, when a European Cup match between AC Milan and Real Madrid was stopped six minutes in and a moment of silence was observed in memory of those who lost their lives. The Milan supporters sang "You'll Never Walk Alone" in memory of them.

This is how it was reported:

On a lighter note, especially for United supporters, the unknown Federico Macheda has turned 2 points into 6 and has put United at the top of the Premier League table by one point over the scousers, with a game in hand. Magical moments, he is know a famous 17 year old, a true rags to riches story taken from the Lazio youth system. His parents worked many jobs to allow him to pursue his dream. Living in poverty, United swooped in and gave him and his family a good deal. Without him, United would be in big trouble in the league. This is what happened on his debut for United, off the bench:

And from another angle:

He did it again just last weekend in his second appearance for United, off the bench, with his first touch:

Lets see what SkySports think:

The Champions League ties are coming up, do we need to see another moment of Macheda magic? I may have a heart attack if we do, I hope we can be good enough to beat Porto comfortably. Cheers to fannation, but will the glory days ever return?
