The results are in and the opening round of April Badness has come to a close. As expected, all No. 1 seeds advanced easily with Ryan Leaf considered so much of a bust that he won unanimously over "Hollywood" Henderson. Surprised not one wisenheimer voted for Hollywood.

Not all of the two seeds were quite as lucky, as Jeff George was upset by Pittsburgh's Tim Worley in the Jim Irsay region. The closest matchup took place in the Mike Brown region with Mike Mamula narrowly edging out Andy Katzenmoyer by a single vote! Sorry Andy, you're going home -- no recounts here! For the full results, let's go to the polls!

Jim Irsay Region
#1 Ryan Leaf 100% def. #8 Hollywood Henderson 0%
The top-seeded Leaf blows the competition away. Is there anyone that can stop him? Maybe the Bos?

#7 Tim Worley 61% def. #2 Jeff George 39%
Jeff George is still trying to get back in the league to show he's an even bigger bust than he's proven to be, but it's still not getting him by this Steelers bust. Speaking of busts, it was a year ago Sunday that Worley was arrested and Tasered on a drunk driving charge. So much for his breakaway speed.

#3 Todd Marinovich def. Yatil Green 21%
Raiders fans have been clamoring for their former first-round pick to go far in this tournament and he did not disappoint with a strong performance against this former Dolphin. Finally, the recently arrested Marinovich can make the Black Hole proud. Next up, Mr. Worley. Steelers-Raiders, just like the good ol' days.

#4 Brian Bosworth 70% def. Pacman Jones 30%
Perhaps we should rename this region after a famed convict instead of a bad evaluator of talent since both of these men are also no strangers to handcuffs. Bosworth was also collared recently for drunken driving and we all know about the history of Pacman, who couldn't run over The Bos like Bo Jackson did back in '87.

Mike Brown
#1 Tony Mandarich 79% def. #8 Johnathan Sullivan 21%
This one had the most 'juice' (pun intended) of the four matchups involving No. 1 seeds as Mandarich made this one a little too close for comfort.

#2 Akili Smith 86% def. #7 Tommy Maddox 14%
Maddox failed to supplant John Elway after getting drafted by Dan Reeves, and he failed miserably against this infamous Bengals bust.

#3 Rae Carruth 80% def. #6 Andre Wadsworth 20%
Eighty percent to 20 percent isn't exactly a killing...oh nevermind. Akili Smith is Carruth's next target.

#5 Mike Mamula 51% def. #4 Andy Katzenmoyer 49%
This clash was about as close as close can be. Katzenmoyer's broken neck may have kept him from advancing as Mamula moved on by a nose. Tough task ahead in Mandarich.

Ray Perkins
#1 Lawrence Phillips 92% def. Reidel Anthony 8%
The former Rams running back beat up Anthony as badly as one of his ex-girlfriends.

#2 David Carr 64% def. #7 Michael Vick 36%
Finally, a dog that Vick couldn't beat.

#6 Jim Druckenmiller 54% def. #3 Cade McNown 46%
A mild upset here as this one of many Bears busts is taken down by the not-so heir apparent to Joe Montana and Steve Young. Next QB in line: David Carr.

#4 Blair Thomas 58% def. #5 Cedric Jones 42%
Apparently, two eyes IS better than one. Thomas moves on to face Phillips.

Matt Millen
#1 Heath Shuler 86% def. #8 Tom Cousineau 14%
Shuler is still representing in D.C., taking a break from his time in Congress to once again put on his Skins helmet.

#2 Tim Couch 88% def. #7 Matt Jones 12%
Not even an arrest for cocaine can get Matt Jones past this former No. 1 overall pick of the Browns, their first back in Cleveland.

#3 Charles Rogers 85% def. #6 Kyle Boller 15%
Rogers has the esteemed place in history as being one of Matt Millen's one of many first-round busts. He's also currently in the slammer for violating his probation on a drug charge. Rogers vs. Couch in the Sweet 16!!

#4 Dimitrius Underwood 54% def. #5 Todd Blackledge 46%
While Rogers may have problems with a little weed, Underwood's mind was altered beyond repair. He walked out of training camp and never returned to the Vikings. His comeback was derailed twice by suicide attempts. Surprisingly, Blackledge still kept it close. Underwood goes up against Shuler next.
