I want to try to not get repetative with my post on here and in the group On Top of MMA!
Many of us probably aren't familiar with Veach yet. He is an 11-0 fighter out of the 155 class that just recently joined the UFC's roster. He holds one win in the UFC by way of TKO over Matt Grice. Grice is a 10-2 fighter losing both his boughts since coming into the UFC which is obviously stiff competition.
Veach is a previous Division 1 national qualifier (wrestling background) who loves takedowns, has great strength, and favors the Kimura! The guy also holds a degree in psychology and you know what they say, it takes one to know one!
Matt veach has been training with an MMA legend, fellow Matt, Matt Hughes! He has fought previously in events such as Shootfighting challenge, Supreme-Fighting challenge, and Cage Wars, He holds win by way of 4 TKO's, 6 submissions, and 1 decision, this showing he tends to be a finisher. Hughes thinks he is going to be a good up and comer and might be a fun prospect to watch since he doesn't like to leave it to the judges.
Any thoughts on this guy and what he could possibly bring to the light weight division? Obviously he need not be mentioned with the top contenders right now but 11-0 is an impressive start and if he gets better he could have a bright future.
