 MMAjunkie's Top 10 Middleweights!:

1. Anderson Silva
2. Robbie Lawler
3. Yushin Okami
4. Nathan Marquardt
5. Jorge Santiago
6. Dan Henderson
7. Gegard Mousasi
8. Vitor Belfort
9. Kazuo Misaki
10. Yoshihiro Akiyama

Are you kidding me, lets review shall we...

I won't even repost a pic of Silva or justify his number 1 ranking, he wins.

Lawler

Lawler, he should be moved way down the list. He has been fighting second rate opponents and when he fought top competition in the UFC he went 4-3. Bring him back so he can lose to Silva, Marquardt, Henderson, Okami, and probably Bisping who isn't even on the list. Heck UFC just brought in Akiyama and he hasn't fought yet. Feed Lawler to him. If he belongs at all its at 9 or 10.

Okami

Okami is pretty good. But as it stands I would rate at a minimum Marquardt over him. Marquardt last notable loss was to Silva (need I say more). The Leites fight was crap and he beat that lay down loser but lost points, dang it. Prior to that you have to go back to 2003 for a loss to Ricardo Almeida. That puts Marquardt at 2 and Okami at 3.

Hendo

Hendo could be argued with Okami for a 3 spot but we will put him at 4 since his last win wasn't even at middle weight even though it was over a former middle weight king whom did beat Okami.

I couldn't find a picture of Mousasi but I will move him up two spots to 5. He is 7-0 with 6 finishes, most by KO. Only problem here is he has moved up and is next slated to fight at LHW.

Santiago

I'll give Santiago spot six, only because he is on a 9 fight win streak none of which have gone to a decision, he finished them all. Last "name" he beat was Joe Horn whom we all know from his fun with Liddell.

I can maybe squeeze Lawler in here at 7 though you could argue Bisping could beat him out for this spot, but I hate Bisping and thats a different story.

Belfort

Spot 8 I resolve to give to Belfort. He went over all 7-4 in the UFC and once beat Couture and Wandy. He isn't consistent with winning and last beat Lindland.

At 9 I'll bump up Akiyama. He is 13-2 and is far more consistent then Misaki even though he lost that fight by KO. I chalk that to luck for Misaki. And and no good picture for him either.

Misaki

I'd give Bisping this spot over Misaki but he has to prove himself at middle weight first and he is about to lose to Hendo. Misaki is a vet at 22-9 and fighting since early 2001, but he has been whipped by a lot of guys on this list. Marquardt beat him twice, he also lost to Almeida, Chris Lytle ( a much smaller man) beat him. and in his last fight he was submitted by number 6 Santiago.

Well that's much better now isn't it. I didn't forget Maia and I have a feeling he is about to blast his way up to the top of this list. Maybe a top 5 slot for him really soon!
