Here are my 3 theories of what the Browns will do with their #5 pick in the NFL draft on Saturday.

Theory 1:
If Curry is available at #5, then the Browns will pick him. There is no possible chance that the Browns will pass on one of the most talented LBs to come into the league in years. Curry will provide great depth at LB, and will be an impact starter at either OLB or ILB.

Theory 2:
If Curry is not available at #5, then the Browns will pick Raji. Getting a young, big man to help on the front line next to Shaun Rogers sounds like a lot of beef! The double teams that Raji and Rogers would get will open up OLBs like Wimbley to get more pressure and QB sacks! He will be a starter most likely at the nose of the defense with Rogers moving to the end.

Theory 3:
All this Browns loving Sanchez talk is to entice teams that really want the QB and trade up to get him. Enter the Washington Redskins. Washington has been known to throw a lot into trades to get the guy they want, and they want Sanchez. Washington will trade with Cleveland and send the Browns their #13 pick and a 4th round pick in this years draft and next years 1st round pick to get Sanchez at #5. The Browns will then pick Malcolm Jenkins at #13 to fill a hole in the secondary and Jenkins will become the starting S, and may have an "Ed Reed-type" of instant impact in the defense.

This was very, very difficult to predict and I just hope that one of these scenarios happens. I will be a very happy fan if any of these can occur. I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best on Saturday. Don't let me down Mangini.

As far as the Braylon Edwards trade saga...I see him getting traded but maybe not to the Giants. Various sources have reported that the Titans and Eagles are still interested in Edwards (but EVERYTHING that's reported now are rumors until draft day cometh). The real question is, will Mangini stay greedy in the quality of picks received for Braylon? Or will he concede and take what he can get for him?

Theory 3 is unlikely, in that I think the Browns truly have an interest in him. Your theory is kind of off in that if a team thinks the Browns want Sanchez, teams who want him too aren't likely to come calling on Cleveland to trade, they'll try to trade within someone drafting AHEAD of Cleveland. I mean, if you're, say, Daniel Snyder from the Redskins, and you hear Cleveland wants him, but is willing to trade away the pick that gets him, are you really believing their interest in him?
