Well, let me start by saying that after game 2, in reading the conversation over the Pens OT win, many Flyers fans of the conspiracy mindset (Bettman wants Crosby to win Cup, Bettman hates Flyers), were quick to make the argument that there should never be a 5-3 in OT, and that it never happens. Well, these same Flyers should be asking themselves if a team should ever blow a 3 goal lead, on home ice, in front of the "best fans in hockey". As a Pens fan, this win is probably even more satisfying than a blowout would have been. In what was a pretty clean game, there really was little room to blame the refs, Bettman or anyone else but the Pens and Flyers players on the ice for the outcome. But, as my title indicates, I fear that many of the Pennsylvanians from the other side of the state may not be able to get through these times of trouble. But stick with it, maybe next year you'll get another chance to win a game 6 on home ice against the Pens. They do say, third time's a charm!
