We have seen heroes fall already in the MLB season. Brandon Webb's season has been completely ruined by an injury, while Wang has forgotten the strike zone. Kelvim Escobar is still wasting away his carreer rehabbing, Ervin Santana is downed, and John Lackey is busy figuring out which team to move to. If anybody needs the Bosch Spark more, it is Wang. He has either entirely missed the strike zone with his pitches, or he has thrown easily jacked meat pitches. Putting him on the "DL" is a bad idea by the Yankees. The Yanks need to switch him for Phil Hughes, and tell Wang that they will stand for no nonsense. Justin Verlander has once again struggled with not only having a poor putout ability, but also is having control issues. Oliver Perez has not been pitching smart, so even the Mets are starting to get concerned with him. Did I also mention all those fly balls he has given up? Bottom line is that the longetivity of starting pitchers in baseball has been weakened to AJ Burnett, Johan Santana, and perhaps the greatest one of all Roy Halladay. Roy is the only active pitcher to know the pure art of pitching, which is complete games. Every time he steps onto the mound, he is a threat for a complete game shutout. Not even brand-name starters like Jake Peavy and poor Webby are known for that.

What exactly do you expect the yankees to do? Point a finger and say "bad boy?" Wang wants to pitch as badly as anyone, and there is nothing he can do if his body hasn't completely recovered.

Just to clarify, I love the Yankees and I just think we should give Hughes a chance. We need to let our young talent flourish. They need to be ready.
