Alex Rodriguez: Once regarded as the face of Latino baseball, the future of baseball, and baseball itself. Everybody screamed "A-Rod" after Alex would make a beautiful play. He had many friends, but the truth was uncovered. He took steroids throughout his baseball life, so now he has a new nickname, "A-Roid". Mockery at its finest, but the question still echoes through our minds: Why did he even take steroids? Time will tell, but we have all our theories about his cousin. By the way, did I mention the creepy pics?
Jermaine O'Neal: This is the saddest one to write about. The strong PF had overflowing talent, but injuries tore a promising carreer into bits. His defensive skills were nearly unmathced, and he had plenty of offense. Age has caught up with him, and it looks like he will never be as great as we hoped.
Ron Artest: Teammate of O'Neal on the Pacers. They were supposedly the best duo in the NBA, and Indiana were looking at title contention. Artest basically ruined it all with one brawl. Nobody looked at him the same again, and O'Neal was never the same again. These two carreers were interwined and when one hero fell, the other one went under as well. Truly a sad story of poor choices.
Michael Vick: Poor Michael, once a very rich man, now bankrupt. This shows you how fast life can change. First off he took a lot of pot, but who remembers that? His carreer was completely ruined by something he was taught to do, dogfight. His parents told him it was perfectly normal, and that stupid mistake crippled him as an image and a person. He was one of the most influentual people in the game and was a huge fan favorite. Now, rarely anybody cares about how good he is anymore. Many people don't want to hear is name anymore.
Lance Armstrong: Lied, lied, and lied some more. He took 'roids, he won races, he donated to charity. I really don't want to talk about this guy.
Mike Tyson: Fear and respect turned into humiliation.
Notables: Mark McGwire, George Brett, Jason Giambi, Barry Bonds, Jeff Kent, Albert Belle, Roger Clemens, Miguel Tejada, Sammy Sosa and Odell Thurman.
