I can't spell, I am a sports fan who knows nothing for certain. I am trying to build my own facebook app cybersweetness and I don't really know what I am doing. I grew up playing basketball. Sports is about talent and desire. It is how much pain your willing to give. In the weight room, in the hard sports of the same. We all saw Joe Montana with an elbow the size of a grapefruit lead KC to his last meaningful victory. We saw Jordan sick as a dog win a game in the playoffs. And now we get Ovechkin.
We won't really appreciate him till he is gone. We miss Barry Sanders but he didn't want it like Ovechkin does. See what makes this kid a star.. a once in a lifetime player is his desire. There are some players which just refuse to lose. Ovechkin is one of those players whose love for the game of hockey is only match with his shear desire to win not only every game but every battle.
Can you name a star player that would nail Gil for accidentially hurting his teamate. That is old school, hard nose in your face hockey.
I know the nay sayers will point to his long shifts. But they don't see he is smarter than the others guy. He only skates when he has to. All stars know spacing and let the game come to them in certain moments and take control others.Ovechkin is still more dangerous than most. More dangerous than anyone else on the capitals. For a hit or a goal.
He also is so smart in how he changes speed.. something Malkin does do... he never waists energy....
I am done... that is my rant.. now rip me a new one..
