11:21 AM ET  05.17 |      The cowboy's have been talked about a lot in the media about the poor draft's they have had in the past especially from the late 90's on. Big Bill came in in 2003 and was supposed to fix that and I think he did that with exception of a few pick's that I didn't totally agree with and Bobby Carpenter being the main one and not picking Stephen Jackson being the other with that said he he always got high praise for his draft's and the media made sure we knew about it. To me the 2008 draft has to rank in one of the top three draft's ever by the Cowboy's with number one being the draft following the Hershel Walker trade. Go back last year and let's start with Felix Jones he's going to be great period would start for 28 other teams next Michael Jenkins he's a starter next is Martellus Bennett made the most of his playing time he will start in the future somewhere next is Tashard Choice was forced into a started role last year and rushed for more yards against the Steeler's than any other back all year next there is Orlando Scandrick the steel of the draft is better than Jenkins and probably will start this year then last it's Erik Walden good player that needed to be developed so I cannot think of a team right off that had a better draft than that in 2008. Now I've just been reading all the negative comments and bad grades they have gotten for this years draft let's not be to quick to judge this staff may really know what they are doing after all.
