I'm just going to state my opinions and feelings on the latest football news.  Sorry if it isn't as high quality or long as it should be, I'm kind of short on time right now.

Let's start with Michael Vick.  First, why are they even letting him back in the league?  Would they have let him in the league if he made human beings fight til death?  Probably not and a life is a life, anyway you look at it.  Problems aside, Vick can probably still flat out play (we've seen "Longest Yard," we know you are playing non-stop, Vick).  He has always led respectable or better Atlanta Falcons teams and their downfall happened about the time when Vick left the team.  A lot of teams would be happy to have this guy.

Vick is and will be the best two-way threat quarterback when he returns to the NFL.  I hear people saying about how he shouldn't play NFL again, how he's washed up, he doesn't want to play anymore, he'll be a distraction, he's not good (that's a fannation quote for y'all, surprising, ain't it?), bla-bla-bla.  I'm saying it now, Vick still has a few Pro Bowls and some winning seasons left in the tank.

Now onto college football.  President Obama making jokes about Notre Dame football?  Yea, doesn't surprise me, I hated Notre Dame too.  I don't see why anything Obama says about sports or something like that, it becomes National News.  I think Michigan University Football sucks (sorry to all of you U-of-M fans), put me in the National News!

But seriously, it's about time both Notre Dame and Michigan get their football teams rolling.  Michigan and Notre Dame were once the class of the Big Ten and out of conference schools, respectively, now it's more like "How bad do you think Michigan and Notre Dame will be this year?"  They once had a feared rivalry, their most previous matchup (last season) was one of the ugliest football games I saw all year.  Michigan looks like they got their groove (kind of), they have a decent quarterback and some solid offensive linemen.  Notre Dame?  I can't see anything good happening to them for another five years.

There is talk on making a longer NFL season.  I don't see the reason for that.  Players are already getting injured non-stop in a 16 game season, now try playing 18 games every year.   Plus, more and more records will be broken with more and more games.

Just how I feel . . .
