Played in one of the most fun games I've played in awhile last night. I busted out early, but stuck around to deal. And it was worth the late night. Got tipped very well (more than I lost in the tourney) for dealing....drank Jager (two bottles disappeared) and got to see live hooties. Don't get that very often on a Tuesday night!
Congrats to my buddy Alex for coming back from way behind in the final two to bring home first place and a nice cash. And congrats to the ladies who decided we needed to see more than cards and chips.
No poker tonight or Thursday. A little down time. Today its golf with 3 of the players though, so I assume I'm gonna be risking a few bucks this afternoon.
Then the weekend. It is a holiday weekend, so I plan to play some poker most of the time.
Friday night is a $40, 10,000 chip deep stack tournament. 33 people, plus a very lucrative cash game to follow.
Saturday is a $100 10,000 chip deep stack tournament. 30 people, with an $1,100 first place prize. And again, a very lucrative cash game to follow.
Sunday, I'm hosting a game at my house. $40 game with 22 people. It is planned to be a pot luck, and I'm not expecting the best of poker play. Its for fun, and welcoming back a couple of friends who have been gone for a little bit. Should be a good time. There's usually a cash game to follow, but we'll see.
And then Monday, over to the regular Monday night $40, 20 person game.
And then Tuesday, back to the game I played last night.
Five straight nights of poker, and hopefully no divorce.
