Being a long time Leafs fan and generally hating the Canadiens..., I found something interesting this morning while watching Hockeycentral. The Canadiens are not going to be offering a contract to Saku Koivu this off season. What??? This guy is undoubtedly the face of this franchise and after going through his health scares over the last few years..., the Habs are just going to let this guy walk? And once he is gone..., Kovalev's getting the 'C' and a huge contract extension. Well..., congratulations Montreal. You may have just become the French version of the Leafs..., no goalie, a decent defense, no one that will fill the seats. Let's just hope that once Saku signs with a different team (Toronto maybe?) it'll come back and bite the Canadiens in la butt! I just love it when the Habs do something like this..., makes me proud to be a Leafs fan!

Wow, I would love to be a leaf's fan, they have like 10 less cups than the Canadiens do. Your irrelevance continues as the Red Wings will surely at some point pass you in championships and make you number 3. The Canadiens will never be passed in cups just like the Yankees wil never be passed in world series titles.
