"I never can say goodbye... oh, no, no."
That seems to be T.O.'s current favorite tune nowadays. Last week we heard about his twitter message--perhaps it was a response to one--in which he basically blamed Romo and Jason Garrett for his departure from Dallas. Now we're hearing Tony Romo didn't want to mention him by name after a practice (I don't know, we've been calling him T.O. for such a long time. . . What is his name?)
Well, everyone might as well get used to the fact that whenever anyone such as Mr. Owens leaves any kind of place, there's always going some sort of remnant or reminder left behind. Again I say. . . geeeeeeet used to it. Don't fret though, eventually Buffalo will get buried by its usual blizzard, and we'll probably won't hear about the man at least until the following Spring.
Hey, wasn't it only a few years ago when the shout and cry going on was that since NFL referees were making such horrible calls (Yes, NFL referees were making horrible calls before last year's San Diego-Denver game. Remember Mr. Hocculi?) that NFL refs (short for referees) needed to be hired fulltime so that they could concentrate fully on the game. Yes, that they could fully concentrate on the game instead of being distracted by being a lawyer, insurance salesman, etc.
Yes, fulltime referees were supposed to be the cureall. Oops, so then why do I hear all this bantering about how the NBA referees are tarnishing the game, especially the current playoffs, with their "horrible" calls. Aren't they fulltime? Don't think they're working for minimum wage. So what are you all crying about? You've got your fulltime refs. Oh--maybe they just need a raise and the calls will get better. Yeah that's it.
And if refs are fulltime and getting such great salaries, then you won't have anymore type of shenanigans like refs shaving points and gambling. . . that sort of thing. Oops, didn't that already happen with Tim--.
Well, time to go. Going to see if I can apply for one of those great NBA jobs.
