Hello, hello, welcome one and all to The NFL and MLB Group blog, written whenever I feel like it. Unfortunately for you, my readers, I have not graced your Internet server in many days. However, that has all changed now that I bothered to type on my keyboard the latest happenings in these respective leagues.
MLB: The attention grabbing games of yesterday shall now be stated on this blog in an easy to swallow format, as I now write with capital letters, spacing, and appropriate puncuation.
AL Games: The Yankees are keeping pace with a win in Cleavland, while Cleavland is looking to join Chicago as one of the saddest sports cities in America with the Cavs elimination. Score: 5-2
The Oakland A's lost by 4 in Chicago, as the White Sox try break over .500. Score: 6-2
The final AL game of Monday was Seattle vs. Baltimore, in a clash of mediocrity. The Orioles would end up winning, scoring the winning and only run in the game in the top of the 6th. Score: 1-0
NL Games: The Mets lost in an offensive game to the Pirates, losing by 3. Score: 8-5
The Brewers were beat in the bottom of the 6th, with the Marlins scoring 5. Score: 7-4
Colorado lost again, to no surprise, this time to the Astros. Score: 4-1
Cincinnati edged the Cards by 2 in Busch Stadium. Score: 5-3
The Phillies beat out the Padres in lovely San Diego, securing the NL East. Score: 5-3
LA lost to the D-Backs, in a surprising turn of events. Score: 3-2
Now we talk about the NFL:
The NFL still hasn't worked out a new player labor contract, and doesn't seem to be in a huge rush, as there is no time table set.
Well, that's it, that is the common knowledge I passed as my own, for a lack of better writing topics. Until next time, find something else to read.
